By definition, therapy is a process of change. My clients determine the changes they want to feel and see in their lives, and we work toward those goals together.

I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with two master's degrees, Level 2 trained in Internal Family Systems, and certified in Brainspotting. For over 15 years, I've worked with individuals and couples on the issues that tend to hide in plain sight — infidelity and breaks in trust, mismatched desire, out-of-control sexual behavior, sexual dysfunction, modern dating, and the kind of complex trauma that shows up in the body long before it shows up in words.

My approach is grounded in neuroscience and interpersonal biology — the understanding that our nervous systems are shaped in relationship, and often healed there too. In practice, that means two things. Internal Family Systems helps us get curious about the different parts of you — the one that shuts down, the one that overfunctions, the one still trying to protect you from something that happened years ago — instead of treating them as flaws to fix. Brainspotting works with where the body holds what language can't yet reach, using focused points in the visual field to access and process what talking alone often can't touch.

I'm direct, deeply curious, and warm. I help people slow down and notice what's happening beneath their thoughts — the emotions, body sensations, fears, and old patterns that quietly shape how they respond to themselves and the people they love. Instead of judging these reactions, we get curious about why they developed and what they may be trying to protect.

Therapy with me is not about forcing yourself to think more positively or becoming a different person. It's about understanding yourself more fully, healing what still hurts, and building the tools to strengthen the relationship you have with others, and the one you have with yourself.

I work with individuals navigating infidelity, mismatched desire, sexual dysfunction, or out-of-control sexual behavior, as well as couples trying to rebuild trust or find their way back to each other after the conversation has gone quiet. Many of my clients are self-aware, high-functioning people who are exhausted from understanding everyone except themselves.

Outside of sessions, I'm an extensive traveler who has called Chicago home for the past 15 years. Beverly, Bridgeport, Gold Coast, Andersonville, and Pilsen are some of my favorite neighborhoods. The White Sox are my team.

If you're ready to understand yourself more fully, to feel different in the life you created, I’d be honored to help.
